Our Team

Shelby Williams joined Home Leasing in 2016. She serves as Director of Asset Management and is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance of the company’s property management portfolio while maximizing the potential of each property’s value by providing strategy and direction. Shelby works closely with the property management team to oversee external reporting, budgeting, cash flows, annual owner distributions, reserve and escrow requirements, while also working closely with each entities State, Investor and partnership relationships to ensure compliance with any and all financial covenants and certain requests are met.

Shelby started with Home Leasing as a Regional Manager overseeing a portfolio of properties throughout New York and Maryland. Her responsiblies included overseeing the onsite teams who perform the day-to-day operations. As a Regional Leader the focus is on the residents while supporting each property through monitoring resident service plans, compliance with funding programs and overall property performance objectives.

Shelby received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego. Shelby holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) certification through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). She is also certified as a Tax Credit Specialist, Occupancy Specialist and Blended Occupancy Specialist through National Center for Housing Management (NCHM). She is a member of NCHM, IREM and Rochester Young Professionals.
