Lincoln Gardens is a home to adults 55 and older. Located in the central part of Hornell, New York, the community offers 25 one- and two-bedroom apartments.
The monthly rent includes all utilities. This is made possible by financing and assistance from federal, state and local government programs, which allows us to provide beautiful and affordable homes to those who qualify.
Each apartment is equipped with central air conditioning, tenant storage, and tenant and visitor parking. The community also offers a community room with a kitchen for residents to use.
Originally, the building was constructed in 1924 for use as a school. In 1979, the building was sold to the nearby St. James Mercy Hospital and used for health-related service programs. The building is registered on the National Registry of Historic Places. It is close in proximity to a hospital, churches, several grocery stores and shopping centers, downtown services and transportation.
