Flower City Apartments

Home Leasing is currently redeveloping a portfolio of troubled properties in Rochester that include 1616-1624 North Clinton Avenue, 699 East Main Street and 899 Culver Road. The goal of the acquisition is to complete a substantial rehabilitation and maintain the properties as quality, affordable housing.

The project’s scope of work includes asbestos abatement, new roofs, mechanical and electrical upgrades, new windows, new appliances, new lighting, and the installation of security system and improvements to kitchens, baths and flooring. 

Home Leasing has partnered with Spiritus Christi Prison Outreach (SCPO), Trillium Health and Person Centered Housing Options (PCHO) to reserve 56 units across the portfolio for permanent supportive housing. 35 units house chronically homeless individuals in partnership with PCHO, 10 units house previously incarcerated individuals with a history of substance abuse in partnership with SCPO, and 11 units house individuals with HIV/AIDS in partnership with Trillium Health. These units are available to people who are homeless or at risk for homelessness.
