Home Leasing is very proud to announce that Home Leasing and Home Leasing Construction will become women-led following the appointment of Megan Houppert as Chief Executive Officer and Sarah Struzzi as Chief Operating Officer as of January 1, 2025. Our current CEO, Bret Garwood, will leave Home Leasing as CEO in January but will continue through March of 2025 as an advisor to help manage the transition. This is an extremely exciting and pivotal time for Home Leasing!

Currently, Megan oversees Development and Construction at Home Leasing and Sarah oversees Property Management and Human Resources. Together they have successfully helped to grow Home Leasing to own and operate almost 3,500 housing units across Upstate New York. In addition, Home Leasing Construction has grown to manage more than $100 million in construction volume annually. We are very grateful to have partnered with Bret over the last eight years to bring us to this moment and are thrilled to take the next step in our evolution and fulfill our founder Nelson Leenhouts’ vision to become a family-owned and now women-led organization in addition to our status as a Certified B-Corp.
