Home Leasing is proud to celebrate the ribbon cutting of Huntington Apartments, marking our 32nd completed development. This project represents years of dedicated effort, and we’re excited to officially open the doors to a vibrant, inclusive community.
Huntington Apartments includes the historic preservation of the former National Yeast Co. building, originally built in the 1870s and named one of the Landmark Society of Western New York’s Five to Revive in 2018. As part of the restoration, the building’s mansard roof was rebuilt, adding a fourth floor and creating a total of 53 apartment units.
Half of the apartments are designated as supportive housing for formerly homeless veterans, who will receive on-site services through a partnership with Eagle Star Housing. The property sits within the Seneca Falls Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) catchment area, with the Erie Canal bordering the southern edge — a meaningful location at the heart of community investment and renewal.
This achievement would not have been possible without the support and collaboration of so many individuals and organizations. Thank you to everyone who contributed — whether you joined us today or supported the project along the way.
Special thanks to our partners and speakers:
