Falconer Square

The mixed-use development will consist of 2, 3-story, newly-constructed buildings with 53-multifamily, affordable apartments serving households between 50-60% of the area medium income and 4,300 SF of commercial space. Between the 2 buildings there will be 6 units that are fully adaptable for persons with mobility impairments and 3 units adapted for person with hearing or visual impairments. 

Facing West Main Street will be a 43,959 SF, three-story building designed to complement the Village’s architecture, with large storefront windows on the ground floor, a stone/masonry water-table and brick façade above.  It will consist of 4,300 SF of commercial space and 11,600 SF of residential community space on the ground floor, and 39 one and two-bedroom apartments on the floors above, accessed by a central elevator.    Community spaces will include the leasing office, community room, laundry, fitness center, maintenance areas, and indoor bicycle storage.  This building will be fully accessible. Each apartment will have a balcony or front porch/stoop.

The Davis Street building, designed to complement neighboring single-family homes, will consist of 14 one and two-bedroom townhomes totaling 12,416 SF. One unit will be HVI-adapted.  
 
The buildings will be wood-framed and comply with EPA Energy Star Certified Homes Version 3.1 and LEED Version 4, BD+C Homes standards.  All residential units will include EnergyStar appliances, central air-conditioning, and in-unit storage. Behind the Main and Davis Street buildings will be a parking lot with space for both residential and commercial tenants and customers, and a large community green space. There will also be bicycle racks, a playground, garden beds, and outdoor community space with tables and a grill.
