Frederick Douglass

Frederick Douglass Apartments is located in the Susan B. Anthony Neighborhood on a main corridor to downtown Rochester, New York. The community offers 28 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with modern amenities and unique floor plans.

The monthly rent includes individually controlled heat as well as hot water. This is made possible by financing and assistance from federal, state and local government programs, which allows us to provide quality apartments to those who qualify.

The unique apartments at Frederick Douglass have a fully equipped kitchen, energy star appliances, and energy efficient doors and windows. The community is conveniently located on the RTS bus line and in proximity to all the activities the city has to offer.

Residents and their families are encouraged to participate in many of the planned community activities. Residents also have the opportunity to reserve the community room at no charge for a private event. In addition to the community room, a laundry facility and fitness center are available for our residents to use.
