St. Anthony’s is located at 411 West Colvin Street in the Southside neighborhood of Syracuse, New York.
The community will feature light-filled units in a historic building with full kitchens and dishwashers, central air-conditioning and resident storage. The project will also include a welcoming lobby, generous community room, on-site property management, resident laundry, fitness center and 24/7 emergency maintenance.
The building will include a mix of studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments. Twenty-six of the units will be set aside for frail elderly adults who require assistance to remain independent and will receive support from Nascentia Health.
The proposed St. Anthony’s community would return a significant yet dilapidated structure to good use as affordable housing for Southside elders.
