Kimberly Russell joined Home Leasing in 2015. She serves as Executive Vice President and is responsible for the development of new business and strategic partnerships. Kim was involved in the launch of Connected Communities, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not for profit formed to help revitalize Rochester’s EMMA and Beechwood neighborhoods and break the cycle of intergenerational poverty. She provides legal work associated with acquisition and financing of new developments and is the company’s Owner Representative for two communities in the Finger Lakes Region.
Before Home Leasing, Kim served as an attorney in private practice for more than 20 years, where she focused on residential and commercial real estate. She is a founding partner of Olver, Korts, Korona & Russell LLP in Pittsford, NY.
Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Delaware and a Juris Doctor degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Kim holds an Associate Broker license through Home Leasing, LLC. She is past President of the Rochester Chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS, past Chair of the REALTORS Charitable Foundation and a founding member of the Genesee Land Trust. She received the Humanitarian Award from Women’s Council of Realtors in 2006 and 2010. Kim currently sits on the Episcopal Senior Life Communities board as Secretary and serves on the organization’s Governance and Housing committees. She is a founding board member of Connected Communities, sits on the housing committee and chaired the strategic planning committee. She is a member of the Monroe County Bar Association, New York Bar Association, New York State Association for Affordable Housing and Grove Place Association. She is a founding member of Rochester’s Center City Community Coalition, C4.
