Bob Spitulnik joined Home Leasing Construction in 2016. He serves as Vice President of Estimating and is responsible for the preparation of budgets for all proposed construction projects. Bob coordinates with the Owner’s Representatives and design team of each development to review constructability and value engineering, and determine the feasibility of the project. He works diligently with the project team to secure procurement of subcontractors for individual projects.
Bob has more than 45 years of industry experience. Before Home Leasing Construction, he served as a Chief Estimator for various general contractors in the Rochester area. Bob has been involved in the estimating of successful projects ranging from $100,000 to more than $100,000,000 in New York, Maryland, South Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Colorado and Washington, D.C. His project experience includes The University Lab of Ornithology, Cornell; Steam Generation Plant at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Denver, Colorado; Walter Reed Hospital Army Institute for Research; and more than 1,000 multi-family units in Upstate New York.
Bob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering from Syracuse University and is certified as a Professional Estimator by the American Society of Professional Estimators. He is a member of the American Society of Professional Estimators, and the Construction Specifications Institute, Rochester Chapter. Bob is also the proud recipient of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from the Builder’s Exchange of Rochester in 2013.
